Situated near Great Leighs in Essex, Herts and Essex Shooting Association offers a full range of shooting disciplines, a friendly membership and a warm and comfortable club house.

The club has indoor and outdoor ranges on site, as well as the use of other ranges nearby for longer shooting distances.

The club range is an indoor 25 metre range, heated in winter, with 7 shooting points. There is also a 26 acre practical shotgun and clay pigeon range onsite, and a newly opened 3 acre Field Target range too.

The club range is licensed for smallbore, fullbore and black powder; and disciplines include air rifle and pistol, precision .22, gallery rifle, long barrelled revolver, muzzle loading pistols, revolvers, rifles and muskets; practical shotgun, clay pigeon, and Field Target Air Rifle.
